Another six tracks are primed to join the Rock Band music library next week. A three-pack of songs from masked metal band Slipknot is coming for $5.49 (440 Microsoft points). If 1960s folk rock is more your speed, there’s also a pair of Simon & Garfunkel tracks on the way — as with nearly all individual tracks, they’re priced at $1.99 (160 Microsoft points; 200 Wii Points). Lastly, a free single from Lights Resolve will be available on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
Watch for the following tracks next Tuesday, December 8 on Xbox 360 and Wii, with a PlayStation 3 release planned for December 10:

In case you missed the announcement earlier this week, Harmonix claims that they’re done with Rock Band Unplugged DLC for now. While they’ve not ruled out releasing more tracks further down the line, it’s still a bit disheartening to see floundering support for the first PSP game with an in-game DLC store.
